Senor Burrito – Authentic Mexican in Mississauga

We went to a little Mexican eatery called Senor Burrito, in west Mississauga around Sheridan Park area.  Senor Burrito’s location is very easy to get to, but kind of inconspicuous at the same time (a strange industrious looking plaza).

Because above it are offices and businesses, I think Senor Burrito caters very well to the lunch crowd.  We got there at around 5:30 pm and it was very quiet and we were the only customers.  When we left about half hour later, it was picking up in business and the seats filled up quickly.

This place is authentic with a pleasant woman working there and a younger girl.  You can see by my photos above the little eatery is pleasant and welcoming and clean inside.

I ordered the flautas, which is 3 hard tortillas stuffed with chicken and topped with lettuce, salsa, sour cream, guacamole.  The guacamole could use a little more oomph, but was homemade and very fresh.  I grabbed some homemade nacho chips on the side.  I really enjoyed my meal.  The flautas was simple and clean in taste and fun to eat.  It looks like a small meal, but the 3 pieces filled me up.  I enjoyed a Lime Jarrito (Mexican pop) to quench my thirst.

My daughter had the chicken burrito.  She asked for the whole wheat tortilla along with spicy beans, and medium spicy salsa sauce.  They gave alot of fresh made chicken.  Personally, she favours the mushier beans from Burrito Boyz.  But overall, she enjoyed her burrito.  The burrito was quite large and she had to take half of it home with her.  She also had a Lime Jarrito to wash down her food.

The two meals along with the two beverages came to $23.  Senor Burrito was really enjoyable and is just a simple, cute, little casual place.  The ladies were nice and friendly and everything on the menu was decently priced.  You can see the full menu on their website.

Address:  Senor Burrito – 2155 Leanne Blvd., Mississauga, ON

So is this really like a sit-down place or is it closer to fast food? Just wondering because sometimes the boys and I are looking for a quick lunch at any place other than the company cafeteria. (Real sit-down places generally take too long for our lunch time.)

Its more of a fast food/take out place. Order and pay at the counter and bring your meal to the table. And throw out your own garbage. We were done in half an hour.
