Muddy Duck Restaurant’s Breakfast Buffet

What a fun experience to have breakfast at Muddy Duck’s breakfast buffet!

We had originally wanted to try it out on Mother’s Day, but it was so busy.  So, we finally decided to come back this weekend.

We arrived early intentionally (10:30 am) because I knew it would get crazy busy if we came later.  It was already pretty busy when we got there, but not crazy yet since we got seated right away.

The host seated us in the solarium (I guess that’s what you would call it – the sunny part of the restaurant with all the windows).  We quickly got up and helped ourselves to the buffet.  I have been craving pancakes all week!

For about $17.00, the breakfast buffet consisted of a pretty wide variety of food including bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereals, assorted breads, pancakes, waffles, a sweet table that offered real whipped cream and jello.

The best part of Muddy Duck’s breakfast buffet was the made-to-order omelette station. There were two omelette chefs manning six frying pans at a time.  I ordered my omelette with everything on it except onions.  This was enough to fill me up.  You can also order different eggs if you don’t feel like an omelette.

Tea and coffee and juices were included with the meal.  They had a fresh juice station that offered delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a bunch of other healthy beverages.

Breakfast out is the best, especially when its buffet style!

(PS.  I borrowed these photos found on the net).

  1. If you’re ever in Wheaton, IL, try Egg’lectic Cafe, the best place for breakfast among Wheaton restaurants.
